My first official camera was a Royal Blue and Yellow accented Fisher Price toy-film-camera which was gifted to me on my seventh birthday. From that moment on I met one of my soul-creative energy, Photography.
Thereafter, between early teens to late teen years I operated on a point-and-shoot Olympus film camera. Simultaneously, I expanded my creative field, ventured into film making with video production courses and projects through my early middle school and high school years. This cultivated the film enthusiast from within, which, grew into assests for other media outlets. Partnered with contributions in documentary, action and still photography, I was able to invest my creativity in publishing through my school newspaper; in entertainment and opinion writing.
After my high school career and after letting go of a two-year investement in an Education Psychology major, I returned to my artistic studies. From this point on, I captured new depths in subjects and objects-in turn this altered my stance on who and what I was capturing and challenged me creatively. Beyond these years, I continued partnering photography with writing through progressive media outlets.
Now, over the course of my life since being introduced to these magnificent pieces of creative equipment my eyes have always taken in sporadic events occurring in daily life and striking arts of all kinds in every day life. This has allowed me to reflect them in a multifaceted-creative-format.
Very rarely did I engage in the manipulation of the scene(s) or the subject(s) in the photos you will view. My visionary perspective was aiming to gain the most authentic emotions with minimal to zero directorial guidance.
I am always open to taking on new projects with Social Activist Groups, Arts&Humanities,NGOs, Recycled Fashion businesses and Progressive Media. Also, I enjoy collaborations with like minded artists in the realms of short films and photographic narratives.
